Just curious when the mid range boards are coming?

If you are referring to B550 motherboards, then doesn't seem like there has been any confirmation when these will be released yet.
Yes, b550 I would call mid range.

With msi bringing out the max b450 motherboards to fix a major screw up from them self’s. Goes to show how inportant b450 motherboards are for them at the moment.
But I do wonder why b550 motherboards are so important to people though with amd we get so much choice for the new ryzen 3xxx cpu’s
X570 brings pci express 4 to the table and more m.2 slots generally but not much else.
I can’t see b550 bringing pci express 4 etc and it will be comparable to x470 and some top b450 motherboards if I’m honest here a good x470 and b450 motherboard will still be a very good budget/midrange ryzen 3000 option
We’re not on a intel 2 year limit we have 3 generations of x platform to choose from and 2 generations of b platform all witch are very good options
