I really like 3D Touch. I hardly ever use it, but for some reason I'm very fond of it. Once it's gone I'll be sad, but will not notice it's loss in the day to day use of my phone.

I find I use it quite a bit for app shortcuts and for being able to read messages without actually 'reading' it so they don't get a read report/blue ticks. Sneaky.

I'm not sure if I can watch the Apple event.

Shaved 0.1g from the weight, crowd go wild, made the phone 0.1% bigger, crowd go wild, add $200 to the price, crowd go wild, you get the idea... :p

I'm expecting just an incremental upgrade for the XS, maybe a high refresh rate screen as the USP, I haven't seen anything else interesting leaked.

Probably because prices usually go up? The XS and XS max are the most expensive phones so far.

If prices didn't go up, we wouldn't be paying £1249 for the top tier phone.
We’ve seen the increase I don’t feel they’ll increase anymore, anytime soon.

If there was to be an increase, then next years iPhone not this years.

Lets see what pricing is today then. Who things it will be more expensive than current models?

Haptic Touch covers the majority of use cases in iOS 13.

You basically just lose the ability to peek and then immediately pop. That’s it.

You also lose the ability to both move the cursor and select text using the same motion, but using various pressure points, which is incredibly useful for text manipulation if you learn how to use it correctly.
