1700x to 3700x upgrade - Memory speed question?

I'm currently using a x370 K7 Aorus mobo (42a), 1700X and 16Gb GSkill trident 3000mhz CL15 memory. I'm going to order a 3700X shortly and i know that they respond well to 3200-3600 memory but is this still the case when using an older chipset motherbaord like myself? I'm using the latest AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABB bios?

I have mine at 3600MHz. But it also depends not just on mobo, but ram capabilities as well as IF of CPU.

If your asking if the new Ryzen CPU’s run Better with faster RAM and are able to do it then yes. If you are asking if you can overclock your ram to a higher speed the only way to find out is suck it and see.
