Cheapest options for a boiler service

As title, I don't have boiler cover and haven't had my boiler serviced since moving in to my house almost 3 years ago. I did change the fan that burned out but otherwise it has operated and is operating well (as far as I can tell). Anyway, I figured now would be a good time to get someone to do a proper service and check the flue gas etc.

Given the boiler is around 14 years old perhaps it is wise to get a service as part of an annual insurance plan. What is the cheapest option for a service?

hit up quidco/top cashback and the like and take a look at what offers are about, I picked up British Gas home care level 3 for £10pm before cash back from quidco last year and that included a boiler service and check up.

just ask around for a reputable local gas safe engineer, its only £50-60 so not worth spending ages on
