Just wounding, partly since I don't trust secondhand items since you have no idea what they been through. Why a new 1070 Ti?

Was looking into it since the 1660TI is about the same as the 1070 and the 1070TI results are far higherNope, this one is discontinued of a year now. Also why 1070Ti? Whats your budget?

£300 to £400
Does that even cover the cost of nvidias cheapest cards these days?
Sounds good but I don't want any bottlenecking with i7 3930k Unless I OC,5700XT or a 2060 Super for that Price. Would strongly advise a 5700XT, or even a used 2070 but I know you don't want to do that.
For the record I bought a (barely) used 1080Ti over 2 years ago and it's still plodding away perfectly with no problems.

Definitely a 5700XT at that price range.
No one has asked what monitor he has?, he could have a G-Sync in which case go Nvidia.
I just had a 5700 and the drivers are terrible, personally id avoid AMD at all costs.

2k so that's 1440pWhat resolution do you game at?
5700 or 2060s for under £400, 5700xt if you want to stretch the budget slightly.
Pointless overpaying for an EOL slower card to avoid being bottlenecked, get the faster card cause it'll be faster now and if you are CPU bottlenecked then it'll get faster when you upgrade said CPU.
THat's right Nvidia... 27 inch 2560 x 1440, Just say 2k that has G-Synche could have a G-Sync in which case go Nvidia.

What about 1660TI???A 5700XT should do you well. It'll take more of the strain at 1440p so you cpu won't bottleneck it much or at all.
