Has anyone got a fuse box like this in the UK? Ceramic fuses.
Id never seen anything like this until i moved to Sweden where it is standard in older properties.

These things are horrific and scare the crap out of me.
Thats a stock image btw. I saw it had a UK plug on it and it got me thinking cos im 40 and id never seen one of those in England....

I guess i just missed out?

As the Beer monster says, those are Diazed/Neozed/Bottle fuses. Don't see them in in boards on the mainland, quite common in Ireland I beleive though. We generally had rewireable fuses over here, the wylex standard boards were incredably common https://www.flameport.com/electric_museum/wylex_fuse_boxes/wylex_standard_brown_wooden.cs4

The Bill 3phase ones can be scary, especially if missing the paxolin covers over the busbars, had a little woven asbestos pad behind each fuse as well
