Monitor difficulties

Hi I’m looking for some advice with a monitor problem I have.
So I’ve plugged my monitor into my pc with both a VGA and HMDI lead and the monitor say she both are in active.
Pc: AMDI gaming pc
Monitor: Hp 24 inch Led

Have you plugged the Monitor up to the Motherboard outputs when you have a discrete GPU?

Do you have a separate GPU?

You PC specs would be useful.
