The certain North American shop expects its availability on Oct 29, 2019.

I highly doubt that it will be released in 2 weeks since LG have said late november and BH have changed their date like 4 times already so it will most likely change again soon.

But i mean if it does come out early november then that'll be amazing.

The LG 38GL950G and the Predator X35 are creating a dilemma for me . I just can't decide on which to get for my 3900x and 2080ti

38GL950G = Great size , IPS , 1ms response (coming from a 1ms TN) , 175hz , and £600 cheaper... (3840x1600 however is no small feat to run)

Predator x35= HDR , More "gameable" resolution , and 200hz but with seemingly a lot of issues (flickering , fan problems)

The LG all the way. I've got 3 38" Ultrawides now and I wouldn't use anything else.

175Hz and the new allegedly independently verified 1ms response times, at higher resolution and less money is where it's at.

I couldn't care less about HDR while it needs FALD to work. I'll get on the HDR bandwagon when monitors ditch independent back lights.

I'd stay well clear of all the 35" variants for now... both the Acer and Asus have problems, and the upcoming AOC will likely be the same. It's unfortunate the 38GL950G is looking to come in so expensive, as while I am not fussed about proper HDR, it really should have it at this price.

To be honest I was leaning more to the LG and can live without proper HDR for a few years longer while the tech improves.

But that resolution though..I play at 2560x1440 and get around 80-100 fps on ultra in most games.

3840X1600 most likely 50 - 70 fps ? gulp :O
