I went with a 3600 but a higher end X570 board (Asus strix E) so that I can drop in a higher end 4000 series chip when their prices start dropping.
My previous system lasted me around 9 years so be as well get the latest chip for the socket.
Hmm, this actually makes me want to get the X570 Aorus Pro instead of the much cheaper Tomahawk Max.

I'm sure I saw the Auros pro for £239 now.
I needed to upgrade my 2500K as my needs were getting larger. I initially wanted the 3900X then 3700X but decided to go for the cheapest option on CPU for now as it would be perfectly fine for the next few years. At least the motherboard is capable of something beefier.

I very much doubt that'll ever happen!!

I can't even get the like system enabled, so chance of emoji's are slim to none ;)

@Maccy - emoji please?!

I am sure it is not a case of it being difficult, I used to do it over 10 ago when installing phpbb software and I am no pro. I guess there is someone in charge who does not want change.

No chance.
