Ah! So it's my ASRock Mobo for the reason my 3800X never reports more than 60W..............thought I had a unicorn chip

If you get crackling sound from time to time, is the latest realtek drivers. Go to Device Manager. Right click the realtek sound, select uninstall and tick to delete the driver.
Right click the root item of the Device Manager and select to Scan devices. It will install the default Windows Realtek driver having no issues.
Btw this issue exists on all Asrock boards, even Intel Z series.

Has anyone managed to bclk overclock?
Even 1mhz stopped my SATA drive from functioning. I forgot I'd adjusted it and spent days troubleshooting until I realised.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that you don't OC BCLK particularly with NVME drives, but an SSD via SATA I haven't seen as a reason not to.

If you use NVME/SATA etc do not do BCLK OC over 100mhz.

I see the beata BIOS's with AGESA 1004 are now available under the BETA sections for each board @ ASRock. Anyone tried it yet?

I've got hold of the x470 beta Bios a few days ago, but no way I'll be using it, I'll just wait it out as it cant be that much longer to wait?

I had issues with RAM overclocking, my audio would start crackling when the RAM was overclocked to an overclocked that works fine on 2.10. So I guess there were some issues.
