Currently I have 6x Raspberry Pis (3x 3B+ and 3x4B) running a Kubernetes cluster, a Synology NAS, plus all the usual lab networking stuff like a Juniper SRX firewall, Ubiquity Edgerouter X, switches etc.

In a short while I'll also have some Intel NUCs running a mix of VMware ESX with NSX-T and vSAN and Red Hat OpenStack. I'll probably run OpenShift on top of that - and if that proves to be fun and sustainable I'll probably move my "prod" workloads over to that from the Pis and repurpose them elsewhere.

My work lab is pretty much the same stuff, just on a much bigger scale :)

Managed to pick up a 24u rack for £100 inc a KVM and rack console, quite happy with that. Still got a fair bit to move over from my lack rack, waiting on a new switch to arrive so I can get vlans out over to the new location. It's already very quiet in the office without the R710 and DAS.
