I'm not a fan either, of him as a person, but I do love to watch him fight. Love or hate him, you have to watch him.

Usually I'd agree but his last couple fights have been average at best - far from the dynamic risk-taking style that he had earlier in his career!

You can't say he isn't the best at what he does but the last couple of fights have felt a bit like he was fighting not to lose as opposed to fighting to win imo!

Yeah his stand up is so poor, glad Damian got the W.

Ben is entertaining as a person but it would appear the UFC was a BIG step up in level for him!

He looks really uncomfortable even walking around the octagon - reaching out with little or no purpose like he's trying to find the fridge door in the dark in the middle of the night! :D

That's his style, he will absorb a lot of strikes to close the gap and go for the take down. The problem in this case is Maia is also a great grappler and submission specialist and the worse match up for a wrestler. Askren couldn't risk spending needless amount of time on the floor, so he was forced to mainly trade strikes until the near the end of the round where Askren can then work his game.

Cowboy's mentality wasn't quite there as I believe at the time he was having issues with his trainer and gym, so I think that fight made Till look better than he should have been. Not knocking Till as he is a good fighter, but he was a huge welterweight fighting much smaller guys.

Gastelum has no issues staying in the pocket for a fire fight - Till thrives on fighting people who he's bigger than and who are scared from being in the pocket so keeps them at distance. Kelvin won't respect that distance and will be stepping in to Till while slipping and rolling - watch his Bisping fight for evidence of staying in the pocket when people are throwing rangy punches at him. Look what Masvidal did to Till too by not staying on the outside of his range.
