I'm currently using a Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 7950 3072MB GDDR5 that I purchased around 7 years ago.

Since then I've purchased a 34" Ultrawide running at 3440 x 1440 and the cards starting to struggle when maxing out the settings.

I've been out of the Graphics card market for a while and I've no idea what's considered decent at the moment.

Look to spend a max of £400 on this is possible.

Any tips?

Cheers

The above card is probably the best way to spend your £400. It will be a huge improvement on your existing card. As already mentioned though you need to make sure that the rest of your setup is up to the job.

You just beat me to it. Seems like a decent spec and a good match for the 5700XT linked to above.

Your only choice really is a 2070Super. Dont go AMD as you have a G sync monitor. Don’t go 1080ti as it’s older tech and falling behind noticeably in recent games.
