It is my first build, gaming in 1080p for now (as that is the monitor I have) but I am hoping to upgrade in the future, which one should I go for?

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 WINDFORCE 6GB
or
Gigabyte Radeon RX VEGA 64 GAMING OC 8GB

Both are comparable prices.

Or for £50 more the Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 PULSE 8GB GDDR6

My knowledge is limited but from what I understand unless you have a small case it is not worth going for a reference card?

The powercolor 5700xt red dragon is a good card too equally as good as the pulse.

Remove blower fan and housing, strap some 80-90mm noctua fans to the heatsink. Problem solved

They should actually sell cards like that because it's so much better.

Still worth it if you can tolerate the noise.

The default fan speed was purposely slowed down and maxes out at 39%, so you'd barely hear it. Got two reference R9 290s, so i know what's loud. If ambient is high, undervolting helps keep the hotspot from reaching 90c.

Its 60Hz, I have been told you might be able to overclock it to 75hz, I am not sure how I would go about that though...
