Hi :)

I know how to exchange normal HDD in my laptop, but I have no idea how to put SSD in there as it looks totally different. I am adding a photo of the SSD i bought and the photo of HDD I am using now. Can you tell me how to use it in my laptop, please? Or what other accessories do I need for that?

Thank you for answer :)

These drives are not interchangeable. Your top drive is an NVME drive which connects to PCI-E via an M.2 port. Your bottom drive connects via SATA.

If your laptop does not have an M.2 port, then you will need a 2.5" SATA SSD.

There does appear to be adapters on Amazon if you look for nvme sata adapter, can't say if they are any good though, personally I'd be sending that back and just get the sata ssd

Thank you for answers :)

I am going to buy a new laptop very soon instead.

Does it mean I have to choose carefully my next laptop to have NVME connection? What I understand if something supports SSD it doesn't mean it support NVME as its some kind of special SSD?

NVME is simply smaller and faster than regular SSD drives. definitely the storage option to choose if at all possible.
