My new Mu-so QB2. Something that small shouldn't sound as good as this does.

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has any experience with Samsung soundbars and harmony remotes?

I have just picked up the HW-Q70R and it's not playing nice with my harmony ultimate.

It's supposed to change to d.in/TV arc for TV, PS4 and Switch. And HDMI for blu ray. But it just goes all over the place when I change from one activity to another (if it has to change the actual input). Even using Help doesn't fix it!

If anyone has a work around I would appreciate it!

Thanks for reading

Ah, they will be smarties of course. Nice looking system, even for the silver variants.

Yes. You're correct. I've been building it up for a few years now. Replacing bits when I find something better.
Silver seems to be a lot harder to find stuff for than the black.

Started off with an integrated amp, cd player and psx-r. Got the two smartpower amps and used the integrated as a pre-amp.
Then got a dedicated pre-amp.
Finally replaced the cd-8 with the cd-xt transport.

Next step is to buy a bigger tri-arbour (If I can find one for sale) and get more psx-r's.

PSX-Rs still go for around £250 - £300, though if you can find any APA 7.5 or Mono X they can sometimes go for £300 each or so. Those mono amps would be a big step up from the smartpowers (even with PSX-Rs added).

It looks smaller because of the wide angle lens. Can’t get any bigger with the room size really!

Is that because of the throw of the projector vs the length of the room? Because you could get a bigger screen in that space, @ 16:9 it could fill that wall.

Pretty much, and the fact that any bigger would be fouled by the speakers.

It's not a big room. I had to work within the constraints :p

They are Ikea Besta cabinets with the backs removed. It has the glass tops fitted. Had some of these in a different colour in my old house and they worked a treat.

Ah thank you! I was looking at the Besta but for some reason didn't click that they were the same. How are you finding it in terms of fitting AV equipment in? I've found some lovely cabinets but they are all far too small for a decent sized amp/receiver.
