2019 Fire HD Tablet 10 - any good?

Anyone got one of these? On sale for £95 was thinking about picking up for some casual use / media consumption.

Most likely in bed browsing, Netflix and twitch mainly.

Seems like a no brainer at £95 with full hd screen and a Octa core processor but if its crap it doesn’t matter how cheap it is!

I had a couple of the Kids Edition versions for a few days before sending them back. They’re bulky, fairly sluggish and Amazon’s fiddling with Android is clumsy. When I had the tablets you couldn’t install YouTube without some effort. That may have changed.

Other than these things, the screen and battery are good enough for the price. If you’re not looking for perfection or indeed anything close to it, try one out. You can always return it if it’s not what you hoped.

You can install the FireTV Toolbox and remove everything Amazon and install Playstore very easily now.
Speeds the tablet up no end.
