Okay so had the same hardware for quite a while :)

Last few weeks WOT and Armoured warfare crash intermittently:

Black screen, freeze, Wattman setting have been restored, restart the game etc

I have tried 2 different 19 series drivers, 1 18 and am currently on 17.12.1 ( from Guru 3D)

Each time it's the usual safe mode, DDU no internet, install reboot

I have run Windows memory diagnostic and memtest (from USB)

Removed the mild overclock on the 5670

Temps are max 56 for CPU and 83 for GPU when stressed

Superposition completes okay

Any ideas gratefully received

In Wattman, push the Power Limit(%) slider all the way to the right at +50%.

Before you panic, this doesn't tell the card to start drawing 50% power but rather draw power up to 50% more if required.

Ok tried the Wattman Power Limit slider but it would only add 5% - still crashed - "A video card error has occured"

Going to reboot and check Vsync

Having already put something "Green" in my basket I decided to have another look inside the case this morning

Removed the card (and power cables) nothing obvious amiss

Powered on and the issue is gone, have played a few games (tabbed out as well) and no crashes on latest driver

Bizarre (but that 1660 super looked nice!)
