Hi, I'm planning on building a new pc next year and have come up with a spec list which I think is good for the price, any advice or changes are welcome, use case is mainly gaming and web browsing with some mining, spec as follows

Case Fractual Design Meshify C
Motherboard MSI MEG X570 ACE
CPU AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
CPU Cooler Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4
RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3600
GPU PNY 2080 Ti 11GB XLR8 Gaming Overclocked
SSD 1 Corsair Force MP600 1TB
SSD 2 Kingston A2000 500GB
PSU Aerocool Project 7 P750

The MSI X570 Unify motherboard will be available soon, is being said to be best in class (~£250 I think, we'll see...) and with better VRM cooling than the more expensive Ace. It comes within 4 or 5 degrees of the also more expensive X570 Master. Since you're in no hurry, that's a board to keep an eye out for. By the time next year comes there may be others, or better offers on current boards etc.

Seems a bit overspecced though... 3900X (and expensive board) for gaming. The mining will be done by the GPU or CPU?

NH D-15S is more compatible with top PCIe slot and RAM, and only suffers 1-2C temp difference compared to the D15. It comes with mounting for AM4 socket already.

Meshify C is a good airflow case if you take out the badly thought out foam dust filter at the front.

You don't need a super expensive board to run a 3700X. An MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX would do fine.

The cpu cooler could easily be scaled down to a cheaper air cooler. A Scythe Mugen 5 for example or something around the £40 - £50 mark will easily cope with the 3700X.

Corsair Dominator Ram is usually overpriced.

Sabrent Rocket over the 970 EVO as it is cheaper. Not sold on here though so you would have to Google it. I would get a single 2TB rather than two drives.

That psu is also overpriced. You don't need anything more than a good Gold rated unit.

Are you able to find out the length of the GPU cooler and also the radiator thickness? The Meshify C isn't the deepest case and only has 315mm GPU clearance with front fan installed.

Just had a closer look at the radiator compatibility for Meshify C. Top only allows up to 240mm rad, so that rules out the Eisbaer Extreme 280mm CPU cooler there, would have to go at the front. The GPU cooler's 240mm radiator would have to go at the top.

So front-wise you have 315mm clearance, minus 30mm (thickness of Eisbaer Extreme 280mm).

Found a pic showing a 27mm radiator can fit in the front, along with the GPU cooler. If he had at least 3mm to spare, then it'll all fit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/b3102m/reviewstats_alphacool_eiswolf_240_gpx_pro_2080ti/

However, the additional 3mm of the Eisbaer Extreme, will make it harder for the hoses to bend and fit. Notice the bend on the hoses coming out from the top of the front radiator. That might be touch and go. Add to that the fact the Eisbaer hoses have thick parts (coupling) in that area and it makes it more doubtful.

The question is whether the Meshify C allows room for 140mm wide fans/rad, slightly into the bottom compartment, so you can lower the radiator a bit, or if down there only 120mm width is allowed.

I've had a look at the front mounting of the Meshify C and it only has fan/rad screw mounting for 120mm down in the bottom compartment. I guess you could just screw in the rad at the top if it comes to that, leaving the bottom unscrewed.
