Re-use old soundcard or use onboard audio?

I've just ordered a new rig with a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Intel Z390 motherboard, but I have an old soundcard (from 2007) I can salvage from another machine, which I'm pretty sure is a Sound blaster X-Fi Titanium PCI-e, specs here https://www.cnet.com/products/creative-sound-blaster-x-fi-titanium-sound-card-series/

Will be for gaming and listening to music while working (spotify, online radio). I've got a set of Logitech 5.1 speakers.

Is it worth using the sound card or is the onboard as good or better than that card now?

Generally people will consider the onboard better or as good as that card, i used to have that card back in 2008 until i did a new build in 2016.

If you did want a better audio experience then a USB DAC would be the best bet.
