Hi guys,

Bought a few dome CCTV camera (12v connector from plug, connects via ethernet or wifi). Great cameras.

I've bought a few for my father in-law who would like to install it outside of the house. What do I need to buy for him to fit it?

On the list:

Bracket - ordered
12v 2A adaptor - cannot find a reputable place to buy it from ?
Alternatively use power over ethernet (already got powerline adaptors - just need cat6)
IP55 box
What do I need to protect the wiring from the wall/into the box?

AV600 and 1200 are not POE (Power over Ethernet)

the plugs do ethernet over mains power cable, but don't transmit power over the ethernet cable.

There isn't many Powerline adapters that also provide POE.

You will need a POE injector per camera if you want this to be semi neat, where the ethernet from the Powerline adapter goes into the POE injector, then the output of the injector contains POE power plus data - otherwise, you'll need to supply power local to the camera which can be a pain.
