Did you really though?

This article written on the 15th November would suggest:
1) The plate is probably worth more than £400
2) These plates were bought some time ago, unless of course, you are a secondary buyer

EU20 BYE was maybe listed at £1500 at some point (i.e. when article was written) and since reduced to £400. Rubbish article to claim they were selling for that much.

They've stupidly connected a quote from some guy who claims EU related plates are selling for between £500 and £1500.

EU20 LUV is still there

https://dvlaregistrations.dvla.gov.uk/buy.html?plate=EU20 LUV&price=399

EU20 FAN is still there

https://dvlaregistrations.dvla.gov.uk/buy.html?plate=EU20 FAN&price=599

The guy being quoted is a private plates dealer and yet he hasn't bought it although that's his favourite plate.

If you really wanted to come across as a rabid brexiteer, you could have just got England flags printed on a pair of plates for £20.
