Hello there, finished my new PC setup 2 weeks ago and ran memtest86 to check if everything is alright and got this result. Everything is stock in bios, only RAM is set to XMP profile.

From my bit of researching this seems like a RAM Issue, should I consider returning it?

Edit: Forgot to mention that this is a ver 3.31 of the ram kit , Detected as Micron E-Die, on Motherboard supported memory list only version 4.31( Samsung ) of this particular kit is listed.

Edit2 : I never had any errors/bsod while using my machine , even when I worked down the timings to CL16 , but memtest dispayed more errors when the RAM was at CL16...

I would drop it down to a slower speed and see if you get errors again.

Could be that the memory controller isn’t good enough to run at the higher speed class and may need looser timings/more voltage.

Might be worth updating the bios if you haven't already, on my board I can now clock ram higher than with early bios.

x570 Aorus Master should run that speed without problem I believe? I mean what's the point to buy high speed RAM to lower them speeds

I'm on F10, that's like the latest? You have the same board?

Thanks for the tips however I will be returning that kit, as I'm still within return period.

As replacement I'm looking at these :

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3600mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-08q-tg.html x2 kits , for a total of 4x8GB

or

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...4000mhz-quad-channel-kit-black-my-096-tg.html

or

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3600mhz-quad-channel-kit-black-my-095-tg.html

Any advice would be appreciated, plan is for 3600MHz CL16 or possible 3800MHz CL16 if they OC well , only the first kit Ryzen 3000 approved so I'm mostly leaning towards that

I was under the impression that memory overclock on Ryzen is lower with four sticks of ram.

3600 may be too much with 4 sticks.

If you want it guaranteed buy a 32gb Ryzen kit.

These seem like a good option.

On the contrary I've seen people recommending 4 Modules for best results

4 x8 is harder to get stable and may need need some tinkering with soc voltage or timing adjustments hence why xmp didn't work.

BIOS F11 improves memory compatibility, have you tried it?
Updated to F11 but didn't have the time to run a memtest, for the day to day usage I never had any crashes or such, even when I tuned the timings on my current kit that gave me like 50 errors in memtest :D but then again people said even 1 error is a problem so well see, I think I'll be ordering the 16 GB kit x2 from 8pack , even tho it's not listed on motheboard compatibility list a lot of people seem to praise it

So I got 2 kits of the 2x8GB 8Pack 3600 CL16, BIOS read the XMP profile without requiting me to manually set up anything. I've ran a memtest with 0 errors yay! now I have to see if I can get a 3800/1900 combo with my 3950x :D
