Mr Robot. Finished Season 1 and watched the first episode of season 2.

What a load of garbage. Started off intriguing, descended into nonsense. Will give it a few more episodes but unless it improves dramatically I can't see myself watching much longer.

World War II in Colour on Netflix.

it’s fascinating. I never did history at school as we had to choose between it and geography so I picked the latter. To this day, I had no idea about how WWII really got going and how Britain and France did nothing at all about Hitler at the beginning.

If you want fascinating together with superb narration, both The World at War : https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071075/ and The Civil War : https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098769/
are unequalled in their respected fields.

Nice one! There is a programme tomorrow on the Smithsonian Channel about the US Civil War but I don't think it's as thorough as the one you have linked to. I'll watch that next.

And there's one by Ken Burns about Vietnam, too. I didn't think Netflix would have stuff like this so I might have to keep my sub up.

It's definitely on the slow side, I'd say season 2 is much improved in that regard.

So spent most of the weekend in bed with a crappy cold/flu thing so binged the rest of Castle Rock season 1.

Very slow going in parts and doubt I'll rewatch but its very well written and kept me guessing til the last moment.

Really liked the mid credit scene as well, Jane Levy is rather nice.

Just finished Jack Ryan...Really enjoyed it. very easy viewing.

Just binged New Amsterdam series 2..bit of an emotional one but bloody good viewing.

Binge watched Marvelous Mrs Maisel 3, I really enjoyed it but its not quite as good as series 1 or 2.

Cunk and Other Humans. Five minutes of Philomena is probably enough and that's good as each episode is only give minutes long.

Three episodes of social commentary from Philomena, Barry and their new friends on subjects like politicians and climate change, all on iPlayer.

Very funny!

Yeah its defo getting better, cracking direction and well made, its all fitting together.
This is based on characters created by King, not a book am I correct?

Stick with it, Season 2 is even better, they have taken his characters and expanded their story arcs.

Season 2 is basically a prequel to one of Kings best loved novels & movies.

Cheers all

It takes elements of almost all Kings work but not a direct adaption of anything he's written. I suggest watching a youtube compilation of Castle Rock easter eggs when you finish, it's unreal how much is fitted in and how well it is crafted.
