Hi fellas, any ideas how I can get a larger than 4 gig file onto my sd card on my android phone. I can download it to my internal phone storage no problem but I'm having to transfer it to the sd card then put it in a sd card usb adapter to watch on TV. Streaming always cuts out after 10-15 mins lately!?

Or if anyone knows any other streaming solutions that don't cost a lot.

Phone is Xiaomi note 8 pro and TV is Sony kd55x8509c 2015 model

Cheers

Thanks for replies guys.
Forgot to mention I have no pc(!!!) at the moment so can’t put on a normal usb stick.
Yes it’s the fat32 format problem. Guess there’s no way round it then. I’ll carry on as I am for now.
Guess I could try a fire stick? Or a separate chrome cast dongle?
The tv has chrome cast built in but doesn’t seem to be holding the cast at the moment.
The only drawbacks are having to download a bit less quality files rather than the 1080p (over 4 gigs) etc and the worst part - finding the pin to remove SIM/sd card tray every time
