Hey all,

So I currently have a 3600x and VULCAN T-FORCE 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT - GREY (TLGD416G30

From what I can see this speed ram looks good for games like BFV etc and should be a good boost.

VIPER STEEL 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 PC4-32000C19 4000MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT (PVS416G400C9K)

I'd love if someone more experienced could share insight with me :)

There's a very good chance it won't run at the full 4000MHz, 3600 or 3800 is more likely due to the limitations of the CPU & motherboard. Also for the best results you want to run the IF at exactly half the ram speed, so 3800 ram is 1900 IF, 3600 is 1800 etc....

Most AMD CPUs struggle to hit 1900 IF so I'd definitely be aiming for the 3800 as a maximum.

You can get the 4000MHz Patriot RAM and under clock them as they are Samsung B-Die and a good price :)
