When we went one down and 10 men I had given up on this game.

Win or lose tonight, its hard to say Arteta hasn't improved Arsenal.

We are more resilient and organised.

People could just look at the results and say ‘oh well Arteta is showing that he’s a guy that’s never managed before - the results are no better!’ but it’s just plain to see watching games that despite taking over during the most congested period of the season, he’s already got individual players performing better, the team is more organised, working harder and game by game they look more and more improved. Players that had convinced everyone they were uncoachable and useless have started to look like, while not top-tier, that they might at least do the job for now.

Annoyingly the latter stages of games the players seem to revert to Emery mode a bit and so games they’ve been in front they end up drawing, and other than Auba the other attacking players are goal-shy currently (thank god for Martinelli, most goals by someone his age for the club since Anelka)... but this is an improvement on chasing games and squeaking a draw or just flat out losing.

I’m optimistic things will keep improving and although this season is going to feel like a long pre-season in a way, it’ll still be nice to watch some more positive football and hopefully have some good cup runs #optimistic

We should have beaten them at the emirates last month boxing day.

We played them off the park for 60 odd minutes that came but leno made that mistake and got them back into the game for them to beat us 2:1

The signs and warning was already there at the emirates that we are capable of beating chelsea

All over the world...
They fought like the Arsenal players of old tonight
Yep was great to see for a change. Didn’t think we would get a draw after going down to 10 men but finally we showed some fight and guts to snatch a point tonight.
Reckon a couple of good defensive players brought in would improve us even more.

But Arteta is doing a half decent job with what we have and with our injuries at the moment.

Surprised the VAR lines weren't out for that, seemed pretty close

Was looking forward to the excessive reaction by the commentary team about how football is dead
