and even if OP needed x570, the giga gaming x is only just above the msi crapiness.
wouldn't recommend it at all.
0/10 for trolling effort.

Right, feedback sent to mate,
  • He wants to go for a 2070 as he'll be getting a 1440p 144h monitor in the near future.
  • Wants 2 x m2 slots on the mobo.
With this in mind, have put together the follow, is the PSU beefy enough and are there any other compatibility issues? Also, any other recommendations for fans? Not after RGB blingness.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,304.09 (includes shipping: £13.20)

@Megahurtz400

Why does he need 2 x M.2 slots ? If he wants an NVMe SSD then stick a 1TB like the WD Blue in the M.2 slot. Any additional SSD storage can be SATA based.

The B450 Gaming Pro Carbon has 2 x M.2 slots but one of them is pcie 2.0 x4 so you wouldn't get the most out of an NVMe SSD as you would with a pcie 3.0 x4 slot.

depends though. obvs if it's like a sammy 970 or mp510 or sabrent rocket populating the 2nd m.2 slot, then no
but if it's something cheaper like the intel 660p or the el-cheapo gigabyte/wd sn550 then its no different as these drives don't run at full speed anyway

for 1500 he could go with one of the builds mentioned, but with the 3600 considering its a gaming pc, so get a build around the 1k mark then use the remaining budget for a nice quality gaming monitor. got the budget, so might as well get it all at once.

You are getting half the bandwidth though vs a pcie 3.0 x4 slot. Real world performance won't really be noticeable though if he is just gaming, but thought I would still mention it to the op nonetheless.
