alright test this: if you can go over 3800 hold still FCLK and brake 1:1
i can make 4200 mhz but i can't go over 1866 FCLK. 4200/1866 is better than 3733/1866 your argument(my archive says otherwise).i'm defending 1:1 no matter costs(i can show source about this but i did not take you serious you don't know what you're talking about, you don't have opinion it's other's thoughts)
you're using 1:1 3800/1900 for god's sake but when i said if 2400 ram use 1200 fclk you said no, lin us min us... you said go 1900 fclk(not everybody can make this far) and tight timing like 2400/1800 cl14.that's wet dream man how old are you?

Yep, not exactly got off on the best foot.
That said, after his post 22 i think i sort of know where he is coming from, i think.
What he might be saying is that once above 3733Mhz at 1.1 latency goes downhill even if your mobo does 1900 FCLK. Most of us knew that anyway, so nothing knew there.

As it happens @.45 ACP the Read, Write and copy speeds you have at 3733/1866 are atrocious.

Look @.45 ACP I wasn't saying that high speed ram works better with non 1:1 ratio. I was ONLY saying that LOW SPEED ram on zen 2 benefits from a faster IF whether that is 1800 or 1900 if you can reach it. If you look at the OP he has 2400mhz ram so that is all I have been taking about. You are maybe right about 4000 ram not working that way but then again I never said it didn't. Although I think if I tried 4400mhz cl17 and 1900 it would still be close to a 3200 1:1 latency

From what I’ve seen the 3000 chips will run just about any memory overclocked.

yep ryzen 3000 has good support
Ryzen 1000 and 2000 has bad memory support

i have family gathering today so not many games but if you're using 2k ram is meh.. and this why i hate youtubers because i was overclocking 10 year before they born.select 1800 fclk when 2400 is no effect.mobo made 1:1 automatically no matter you select.did "lin us" told this?maybe they using giga msi but with asus reality could be different than youtube.anyway no hard feeling carry on.

OH a fight I wanna join, who can I pick on,it would be so easy.How about proper tuned Ram timings @ 2560x1440,1920x1080 .Oh shoot already posted on previous page to help OP out.

.45 ACP your first,tune ram timings to give a more accurate picture when gaming at 2560x1440 and a couple FPS does not indicate that one setting is better than the other.Also posted a bunch of games on previous page at 1920x1080 but it is clear to me ,people need to brush up on the ram thing and take all testing with grain of salt.

You can set non 1:1 on 2400 /1800, but you didn't for some reason.. What software are you using because in the bios for me there are two places you can set IF. But in ryzen master it will not let you set non 1:1.
