Do many Facebook sites use ocuk logo with out permission

Was looking to sell some Hardware on Facebook
And saw this group
Guessing it's nothing to do with ocuk?
Is Facebook full of groups doing this?
And no point pursuing it
Is it just the price of success that people are going to do this stuff because ocuk are so well known ?

I would imagine OCUK take their image and identity quite seriously and would persue all incidences of this nature quite aggressively.

I managed to work out what the problem is and find the group on Facebook too so the screen photo is absolutely fine

I did screenshot first
But got dragged away from the pc
So quickly snapped a photo on the way out
So on phone now but screenshot is on pc lol
As for ok

A for sale group on FB has the OCUK logo but also the slogan "Powered by OverclockersUK".

i did wonder if it too much hassle
everytime something like it was spotted on facebook
for ocuk to try to get it removed
if i knew they actively pursued them
and was an obvious thread to report them in
i would if i happen to see them on facebook

Depends. Who says it hasn't been set up by OCUK? Maybe its where it gets rid of their returns?

Perhaps it is - who knows. It just looks and feels a bit **** and fragmented in terms of customers. After all, a 33,000 strong group that isn’t promoted on their own forums, nor the forums promoted on the group?

I wouldn’t be surprised about the latter though - I’m still surprised that these forums are allowed to continue to be associated with the parent retailer, given some of the content that’s permitted.

Just seems a little weird to me considering the stringent rules of the MM here and then to sponsor a FB group which is essentially the same thing but with no real enforcable rules to it.
