Once used a mod on GTA San Andreas, which gave the shotgun infinite ammo and a minigun fire rate. That was fun. Mow down entire streets with a quick bzzzzt.

Doesn't count though, I know...

Rail gun in Quake... Sweet mother of god did I love getting headshots on that beast. Insta-delete people. Loved it.

Aside from that, the chainsaw rifle from the first Gears of War. It was a very cool idea and very fun in the first game.

The Stake gun in Painkiller....the game was mince but pinning things to walls was good fun.

If I have to go for one then right now it would be the Guardian from FO4, I'm playing through it just now with no mods/DLC.
