Came home earlier today
To find someone
Stealing lead off my roof
Police got there in 10 minutes
Fair play to them
But he was gone
Posted in local buy and sell
Facebook groups
And within 3 minutes literally
Some one named him
After an hour over 12 people named same guy
And over 5000 people looked
At the photos
Incredible example of people power

People actually do this? stealing lead from roofing? I thought it was mostly myth/the odd church it happened to.

I'm singing his words and putting them to Macc Lads songs - it works a treat.

Anyway, it is one of the great things about Facebook along with finding lost people and animals.
It does have great uses sometimes.

This sort of thing happened in the North East UK and literally every so many houses out of a town/business got stripped, I don't know if anyone was ever caught.
