Hi,

Would love to build a cheap Ryzen build for tweaking around........

280 would be the max.
Second hand Ryzen 2600 would also be an option.

Could you advise what motherboard, ram and ryzen 5 I should get?.
I love the intergrated Vega.
We dont want a graphics card.

PSU (x)
SSD (x)
Case (x)

> Memory 8gb
> Ryzen 5 with Vega
> Motherboard

Thanks

no the motherboard isnt very good and 8gb of ram isnt either especially if its only a single stick.

Either try get the r5 1600 AF version very important it being the AF or go with with a ryzen 5 2600/x

The motherboard I linked is very good and will easily handle 8 or even 12/16 core upgrades in the future, the ram is very good for the price also.

Bare in mind the r5 2600 or the 1600 will requre a gpu as no intergrated graphics. if you want a cpu with intergrated graphics then you need a cpu with G on the end for example the ryzen 5 3400g

Worth noting the 1600 and 2600 don't have integrated graphics, you say you don't want a graphics card, is that because you already have one? if not your best option at the moment is either the 2400g or 3400g

I wouldnt recomend only 1x 8gb single channel ram though especially as the onboard graphics uses system ram so really benefits from fast dual channel. Depends on what you want the system for though really?.
