alamo is one of the few companies that let you choose the car you want, you book your class of car, standard, mid range, whatever, then when you get to the car park walk down your row and choose what you want, they all have the keys in them. also alamo lets you do skip the counter online (this was at MCO) so the first and only person you speak to is the guy in the both at the exit when your in your car.

Does the online counter let you add your additional drivers that you know of?

You can do everything like that online when you book. Then if you do the "skip the counter" option.... you dont have to, but if you do then when you get to the exit booth you show the guy there the card you booked it with your drivers licence and the paperwork, takes about 5 minutes, then you can drive out.
