Going to keep my eye on these two 32" VA's but Curve is different ln Samsungs as it is normally 1500R on 27" and 1800R on 32"

Samsung

27″ 1440p 240Hz HDR600 1000R Curved Q2 2020 Samsung Odyssey G7
32″ 1440p 240Hz HDR600 1000R Curved Q2 2020 Samsung Odyssey G7

AUO VA Panels

32″ 1440p 240Hz April 2020 N/A < No clue why no curve on larger size, could be wrong info.
27″ 1440p 240Hz 1500R Curved May 2020 N/A

Forced overselling of 27 inch. The markup being larger than a 24 inch means a more of them refuse now to sell 24 inch as the barrier is £450 roughly for a good one.

They are selling 27 inch TN panels at 240hz for £589 at the minute, The whole monitor market is crazy and greedy. This is why i said not to buy 27 inch 1440p as you would invite this and look at the market now.

Not familiar with either to be honest @Alan1969, though to be fair I tend to skip VA panel reviews (just personal preference). Googling reviews is probably your best bet. The prices are certainly palatable!
you only go for IPS then? I now see there are quite a few 32" curved 1440 VA panels for a palatable <£400 - it needs to be palatable as I may need to upgrade my vega 56 as well (so Im talking >>£800 for both) to make best use from a 144hz monitor (and my daughter wants a qnap NAS and a few more 8TB HDD - oh and a cpu upgrade from her ryzen 1700).

You forgot:
  • Lack of advance
  • Image getting lower in size per desk space hogging
  • Renaming same old
  • More gaming branding for higher prices
  • Paper announcements with availability maybe for next year's CES
  • Still more lack of advance
  • Further delays to announced stuff

And I'm sure they can bake in some Coronavirus extra...

The only one I remember seeing readily available on this side of the Atlantic is the Asus Strix XG32VQR, but it's £500ish at least.

Was wondering if I made the right buy when I picked up a customer return for £400. Appeared it had never been assembled let alone used so think I got a good buy after all. May last until microled becomes a thing. Nice monitor, text is not as sharp as my 27" IPS 1440p Hazro.
