lmao, it's where I commit surgery on poor innocent PCBs. Like this BIOS-ectomy on my dead motherboard.. Repair failed - turns out there is 0 volts on VCORE. Should have checked voltages before bothering to replace the chips I guess.

Not as amazed as the utter whotsit that came up with the idea for m2 retention screw for NVME SSDs, damn those suckers are tiny/fiddly!

Even with a good/magnetic screwdriver the amount of times the screw ends up either under the MOBO or worse end up dropping through all the gaps in the PSU is just crazy, makes me swear every single time I have to mess with 'em ;)

Still amazes me that there isn't a standard connector for the jumpers that control the HD/PWR LEDS, PWR/Reset button etc. etc. I hate fiddling around with those *****.
Less of a problem now though as most boards come with a front panel connector block that makes it a lot simpler, without having to fiddle about with tiny plugs inside the case.
