My Epson XP-860 printer has stopped working and reporting that the waste ink tray is full.. I have cleaned up the tray (and sponges inside it), but I need to reset the counter on the printer in order for the printer to start working again.. I've found some sites online that will sell you a code to use (around £5), but Im not sure if they work..

Have anybody reset the counter on their printer? Is there a free way to do it?

Used to be free software
To do it
But so long since I have used
It can't remember the name of it
I may have it saved somewhere
Will look once on pc
If no one else has mentioned
The name before then

Edit
Might be called
Ssc service
Or something similar
No idea of the list of Epson printers
It will work on though

The printer is back up and running.. I cleaned the Waste Ink Pads and purchased some software off ebay which reset the counter.. The software was based on Adjprog.exe (which I have seen mentioned elsewhere).

Edit: In case anybody wondered.. The Waste Pad limit on the Epson XP860 is 8500 pages.
