My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £543.23 (includes shipping: £12.30)

few alterations:
instead of the 2600 - get the 1600AF (product code YD1600BBAFBOX) - £95
and you get free shipping
= £506 total build cost

now i've opted for a 8gb ram build + rx590, this would give better performance than 16gb + rx570 build
and adding ram is cheaper/simpler than needing to buy a new gpu and swapping then selling the gpu

that being said, for a budget of £536, can get 16gb ram and rx590 - this would be probably what i can recommend, if the budget is flexible enough

Thanks, It's funny hearing talk of Ryzen as when I built my system it was all about Intel.

Price to performance has a lot to do with it, if you compare the 3600 to the 9700k, in most tasks the 3600 lags a few % behind the i7, but you can buy the AMD CPU, motherboard and ram for the price of the intel CPU alone.

For me right now the only intel CPU that's worth buying is the 9900ks, and even then its only in the specific case of "I want the highest possible frame rate and don't care how much it costs" :p
