X99 & 5820K replacement

Hi

My current PC is experiencing issues - (looping boot up) I have tried everything except a new motherboard , normally it boots after the 3-4th attempt - but now its not playing at all

So, if I want a new motherboard and processor which do I get - I'm thinking X570 and Ryzen 7 - but which ones ????

Im not wanting to spend a fortune but want a good base to upgrade the system from when funds become avail, I only use the PC for Sim Racing, and just want to get up and running again

have you tried changing the cmos battery?

oh lookies...in budget

256 gb ssd is a bit small. but if literally all you do is sim racing, may or may not need it.

My X99 + 5820K has always been a bit picky over the BIOS settings but disabling most of the C States made the biggest difference.
