A lot of the pushing and shoving on corners is done before the ball is played, however continue to push and shove when the corner is taken then expect a goal to be disallowed or a penalty given!

Earth is a physical object whereas what constitutes a foul is largely subjective, the rules may say a push is a foul but again you see dozens of pushes at every corner and referees don't punish them.
