It would be slightly amusing if the season was cut short and there was always an asterisk next to Liverpool's champions tag *not full season. Petty but it would be funny :D

As far as the PL is concerned i think theyll be preying Liverpool win it next week to make it easier to postpone but what about top 4 and relegation? Theres no way they can cancel this season and write it off. Theyd be in court for years.

They would have to scrap the season and restart as if nothing happened. The season would be nul and void. Great if you are a Spurs fan as you get champions league football. Terrible if you are a Liverpool fan however.

Ive heard that but they would never get away with that. If the seasons null and void are they refunding ticket sales? What about Leeds etc in the championship? Theyd go balistic. What position money are the clubs receiving or are they receiving nothing and if so how do you think the clubs will take it?

Wont happen. Too much money involved.

You mean you wish it wouldn't happen :p. The whole economic outlook is grim let alone football.

There is enough of the season left that if things get really bad they will have to consider it. Along with cups and CL/EL there are a lot of games to get through in the next 2.5 months.

The most likely outcome would be the season delayed and finished later in the summer, probably at the expense of the Euros.

They’d have to cut off the euros if they postpone more games. Between the end of the season, the euros, and the opening cup/European rounds there’s not really much slack in the calendar.

Happy with anything that avoids us getting spanked by City.
