It'll be a bit ironic if, despite the Ighalo chant, United end up one of the few teams not having to self isolate.

I will be very surprised if the games go ahead this weekend anyway and how long will this self isolate business go on? No doubt all the footballers are going to be tested weekly and as soon as one person gets it they will self isolate.

Interestly Germany has announced that they will suspend all games until early April but only after this current weekends fixtures :/

A few journo's are reporting that the most likely announcement from the PL will be a suspension to April with the hope of starting games again then. In reality they could delay a lot longer without too much issue - 9-10 games could be fit into 4 weeks with games being played every 3 days.

All Uefa competitions, including Champions League and Europa League matches due to be played on 17 and 18 March, have been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The draws for the next rounds, set for 20 March, have also been postponed.

I guess that will be it for the season.

finish league off using subbuteo. Each manager rocks up in full PPE for each game. Broadcast live on Sky and BT sports. Arteta gets to name a stand in.

Pfft.. don't be ridiculous then you could actually hold a manager 'responsible' for a team losing, as opposed to the little plastic players who'd actually be to blame. :p

In the interest of player, staff and fan safety the Premier League must be aborted for the remainder for the season and declared void. Qualification for next season's competitions must be based upon the finishing positions of the 2015/16 campaign.
