So most retailers are now closed, except for deliveries...
on the weekend I needed to do some pointing on my brick work.

Luckily, I had some sand and cement in the garage in reserve recently brought...
do any of you have DIY products in reserve?

guess stuff like paint will only last so long

Copper pipes, wood, glue, screws...

Ran out of plaster a few weeks ago which is gutting, not sure anyone is prepared to deliver one bag so I can finish my hall way

A whole box of plumbing fittings and pipe, electric cable of differing types and plates for most switches in the house, plaster, cement, sand.
Some of this will be used over the coming months but if we have any emergencies to take care of, we should be fine.

Doesn't every one have tins of paint somewhere in their house, garage, shed etc lol
Make sure the lids on tightly
And store the paint tin upside down
Means the skin/hardened paint will be
On the bottom when you open it
Not on the top. :D:D:D:D

I think the upside down paint tin trick works because it causes a proper air seal to form around the lid and stops the paint going off.
