Died aged 87 after contracting Coronavirus. Truly saddened me, this. He was a card.

Lucky sod married a Michelle Monaghan lookalike before Michelle Monaghan was even born.

His unusual lifestyle provided many column inches for the press, not least when police were called to Longleat in June 2011 after two of the women got into a violent altercation over who was going to sleep with the Marquess that night.

He, according to newspaper reports, had gone off to bed and told them to sort it out between themselves.

I knew I'd seen the guy somewhere. I thought it was on Salvage Hunters but it was Phil Spencer's Stately Homes https://www.channel4.com/programmes/phil-spencers-stately-homes/on-demand/66021-001 in case anyone is interested in watching it (have to sign in to watch it though)
