As you say equally it's also possible there's a black only version and the console itself is black!

you do realise there is a mute/unmute button literally on the controller...

Most telling thing here is that they’re showing the controller without the console. Would support the idea that they’re still figuring out the rumoured cooling redesign after raising the clocks.

Yeah, they've repeated the same mistake of showing the controller without the console. Something Andrew House said was a bad thing in 2013.

yes but the whole point of it is so you don't need a mic hence having it turned on

its just a really bad design feature imo sticking a mic in something that you keep tapping and bashing etc

Its like sticking a microphone in a corsair mechanical keyboard you just wouldn't do it

They've restated again today that launch is in holiday 2020.
