What delays are you experiencing?

I have a shipment from China via FedEx meant for receipt the Wednesday just gone, today it still says it is in Japan.

Thanks

It's not recent but I've not had any problems ordering from China via Fedex. Indeed IIRC my last order arrived early. Have you emailed Fedex to ask about the delay?

No, I just put it down to the current apocalypse. Was your order during this pandemic, as I was informed initially to expect delays? Just wondering on the average wait

The place I work for ordered some laptops towards the end of March, usually takes a week but they've only arrived in the last 2 days via FedEx.

In fairness we were warned to expect delays of 2-6 weeks depending on the spec.

FedEx is mostly OK for us at the moment - on Express shipments.

Economy shipments are facing longer delays, those are mostly handled by TNT now.

The main issue is reduced passenger flights - luckily the destinations we ship to/from most have direct FedEx flights. Is this an Economy shipment? Maybe that's the reason for the unusual route.

Waiting on several from March

17th from USA Dbrand. First one still in transit. They think lost so sent another.
23rd. Small drive belt for bread maker from Hungary finally arrived in UK 14th now at Langley HWDC and for who knows how long.
27th Ordered a item from a Chinese seller on ebay it arrived yesterday.

Good luck tbh it seems pot luck. Mor items from royal mail here are 3 days behind.

Economy or express, TNT or Fedex would not generally route China-UK parcels via Japan, unless its down to some Covid weirdnes .

Yeah, pretty sure it's down to the Covid weirdness that's going on , I'm seeing unusual routings on a lot of our shipments recently.

FedEx from memory usually goes from Guangzhou > CDG (France) > Stansted

Like DHL would usually route UK to Aus through Leipzig then HKG, now we're seeing them go to Ohio then HKG and then Aus
