I tried the free option over the weekend... came in at 291 in the queue and gave up after waiting 10 minutes...

I wanted to revive the thread as this seems like the most discussed one in relation to GFN.

Been a Google Stadia user since it launched and I love the service. But I'm starting to also explore what's out there and just started to try GeForce now in the free tier.

Once actually in the game it worked pretty good.

I went into it knowing that I could play most of my games library but the fact 20 minutes of my free hour were spent installing Witcher 3 was completely shocking to me.

That depends a lot on the game and whether it is "native" to GeForce Now... some games work instantly, while others need an install.

Well Witcher 3 automatically synced so I would assume it's native? It's also on the list of compatible games.

Just noticed that Geforce Now is available as a Chrome (BETA) add in so you now do not need to install the client on the computer. Tried it and it seems to work quite well. Good news for people WFH
