Hi there

Over a year in development and designed by myself and 8 Pack for maximum performance with ultra-clean looks, so no RGB here I am afraid, just absolute top-level performance.

Continuing our goals to provide the absolute best performance and most efficient memory and specially binned by TeamGroup in Taiwan to meet our strict timings.

All 8 Pack kits feature screened Samsung B-Die and are continuously tested in current and upcoming platforms, so rest assured these kits are not only perfect for the latest Ryzen platforms but are also tested in the soon to be released Intel Comet Lake platform too.

So say hello to our new "8 Pack RIPPED" Edition 3600MHz CAS14 kit, yes CAS14 and the long-awaited dual channel 32GB 3200MHz and 3600MHz kits.

Am I mad to suggest these are the same sticks of RAM and both could hit the others timings?
(think I'm going to get the 2x16GB 3600GHz)

Pretty much so, our cost on these kits are within $3 of each other, hence the same deal price for both, 3600 will be most popular as it is becoming the most popular choice now because it is the most optimal and efficient speed for Ryzen 3000 platforms.

Nope. Just a range of voltage which doesn’t mean much to measure the bin quality.
Tbf they did/do the same with the earlier kit. Basically all I'm seeing is tighter timings but more volts. In this case 1.4-1.5v, as opposed to 1.2-1.4v

I think they are basically the same kit, off the same production lines, using the same BOM, but obviously just the quality control is better and they can bin more accurately to create another SKU. I'm ok with that. But this doesn't seem particularly exciting, especially if you're on Ryzen.

@Gibbo

Say I bought the 3600 CL14 sticks. Will it just work at XMP, or does the IMC need to be strong enough on my CPU?

I've tried using the dram calc to run my current ram at 3600 CL14 and I get errors during tests and I'm running the 8 Pack 3200Mhz sticks at 3600MHz CL16.

Gibbo mentioned earlier that these have an XMP profile, so should just work as sold as the silicon is binned to work at that, it's when you try to force non standard settings that you come across trouble as you've found out :)

Also I've never understood why ram timings are only specified using 4 of the 5 timings.

14-15-15-35 is what is listed but in reality I imagine they are: 14-15-15-15-35.

For example the 3600MHz CL16 kit the timings are 16-16-16-16-36 and yet on the website they are listed as 16-16-16-36.

I'm a ram noob so I'm sure there's a reason.
