That's madness, the leaked Spanish retailer pricing was around 570 Euros for the i9-10900K - if the £638 is accurate then there's no hope at all for the i7-10700K pricing being what I was hoping it would be (e.g around £400)

The pricing on original intel slides that a lot of reviewers quoted was bulk pricing, a lot of them either ignored that, didn't see it and some of them even said "oh that's bulk pricing, so they will be $10 to $30 more retail....." naive wishful thinking.

Intel's CPU's don't get much if any cheaper, they certainly aren't going to give you more for less, or even the same as previous generations.

i5-10600K - £275
i7-10700K - £420
i9-10900K - £530

Seems a lot less crazy and roughly in-line with my expectations based on the leaked Spanish pricing. I've gone ahead and pre-ordered the i7-10700K from OcUK as the non-K might be a week or more down the line based on the Rainforest expected dates

And the i7 is £420 when the 3700x is £260.

Seems a bit mad unless you want to commit to this and then buy rocket lake in 6 months.
