Monitor panel types

Hey,

Thinking about getting a new monitor as I'm still on a 1920x1080 60hz ips panel.

Ideally il probably go with a 1440p with 144hz or better as don't see the point in 4k with a bad refresh rates, although one thing that I'm courius about is there a difference in what type of panel is better for the eyes?

I know some manufacturers panels claim to be better for your eyes but is this just a marketing gimic, what would you guys suggest Va, IPS, LED, TNT.

I'd say the only thing that is actually worse for your eyes is a bad TN especially some of the cheaper ones with horrid backlights and/or poor sharpness. Anything else is largely going to be pretty similar in terms of eye health.

IPS is the safest bet if you want good image quality and don't have fast paced gaming demands.
